Nate Sargent

Board Member At-Large

He/Him

Nate Sargent brings nearly three decades of U.S. Coast Guard leadership, emergency management, and strategic experience to the Board. As a retired Commander, he has a proven record of leading teams through major crises, managing large-scale projects, and guiding high-performing groups across national and international missions.

Currently, Nate serves as the Veterans Employment, Education & Training (VEET) Program Coordinator for the Executive Office of Veterans Services for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In this role, he leads statewide efforts—including a job referral program that connects veterans directly with work, job training, and college opportunities—to provide meaningful connections for veterans to employment, training, and educational opportunities.

Beyond his professional work, Nate actively gives back to the veteran and youth communities by serving on the Board of Trustees for William Lawrence Camp and volunteering as a career mentor for veterans through FourBlock.
