He/Him
Hi, I’m Nolan Buck. I’m a proud Marine Corps veteran and currently serve as the Director of Military and Veteran Services at Fitchburg State University, where I have the honor of supporting our military-connected students as they transition into higher education and civilian life.
Outside of work, I’m a passionate gamer. Gaming has always been more than just a hobby—it’s a way to decompress, stay sharp, and connect with a community that shares similar interests. Whether I’m diving into immersive RPGs, battling through tactical shooters, or strategizing in complex sims, I love the sense of adventure, challenge, and camaraderie that gaming brings.
A few of my favorite games are:
Rocket League, where I’m a proud Champ 2—I’ve spent countless hours perfecting aerials and team plays.
Rainbow Six Siege, where I’ll admit I can get a little too competitive, but I thrive on the intensity and tactical depth.
Crusader Kings III, which satisfies my love for strategy, world-building, and good old-fashioned medieval drama.
I’m lucky to share life with my amazing wife, who supports me in everything I do, and our two dogs, Hope and Hollie. They’re my constant companions—usually lounging by my side while I play or wind down after a long day. Together, we enjoy quiet evenings, weekend getaways, and building a life rooted in purpose, laughter, and shared passions.
Gaming has been a steady and meaningful outlet for me—especially after transitioning out of the military—and I’m always excited to connect with others who find the same joy and sense of belonging through it.
