Frost Call Touch Grass Campaign 2025
Our Annual Summer Challenge Returns!
Inspired by the journey of the Fellowship in the Lord of the Rings, this year we are focusing on an elevation challenge. Our veteran community will be logging the miles and scaling the local topography as we seek to match the cumulative elevation accomplished by the heroes of the Fellowship.
Group Goal: 65,500 total elevation gain from July 1 - July 31
Prizes: Top elevation score gets a copy of the Lord of the Rings Trick-Taking Game, a Frost Call T-shirt, and a custom role in the Discord for the rest of 2025! Runner up gets a free t-shirt.
Group Prize: “Second Breakfast” celebration. All participants will receive a custom role highlighting their topographical prowess.
Rules:
For participants competing to support the group goal:
All participants submit their total elevation gain scores for the week in the #Touch-Grass channel of the Frost Call Discord.
Any elevation gains count. Hike, walk, bike, swim (upriver?), you name it.
For participants competing to win the individual prize:
Competitors must use a tracking app that includes elevation totals (AllTrails, Garmin, Strava, etc). Screenshots will be used to verify elevation totals.
In the spirit of Frodo, the winner is the person with the highest elevation gain on foot only (no bikes, horses, or eagles).
We are hosting multiple hikes throughout July and encourage our community members to host their own as well! Any movement can include elevation changes, so get out there (and back again) to celebrate taking a break from games and touching some grass.
